Dog Friendly Rooms

We’re thrilled to offer pet friendly rooms in the heart of Surfers Paradise, designed especially for your furry companions. Now you can enjoy a beachside getaway with your four-legged friend by your side. “Pups in Paradise” at Novotel Surfers Paradise is here to make your stay a tail-wagging experience. Catered specifically for dogs, there’s no excuse not to bring them with you – your furry friend will thank you for it.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Room Type: Our allocated pet friendly rooms are Deluxe rooms located on Level 6 (lowest floor).  These rooms come with a private balcony, offering comfort for both you and your dog.

Weight Limit: We welcome dogs up to 20kg.

License and tag: Dogs must be licensed and wear ID tags at all times.

Designated Areas: We are pleased to welcome your furry companions to our facility, and we have designated specific areas where you can enjoy their company.

• Level 5 Grass Area: Your pets are allowed on a leash in our Level 5 grass area. This space is perfect for some outdoor playtime, or for them to “go to the toilet.”
• BBQ Area: If you plan to have a barbecue outing, you can bring your pet along. Please make sure to book in advance to secure a spot in our BBQ area.
• We understand that you may want to dine on-site with your furry friend. BLVD Café & Bar on Ground Level has a designated area where you can enjoy your meal alongside your pet.

Leash Policy: For everyone’s safety, dogs must be on a leash at all times.

No Alone Time: Your dog should never be left alone or unattended in the room to prevent noise disturbances for other guests.

In-Room Amenities: Your dog-friendly room comes equipped with a tennis ball (to keep), food bowl, water bowl, and a comfy bed (although you’re welcome to bring your dog’s bedding from home).

Cozy Sleep: Dogs must sleep on their own bedding for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Housekeeping: Dog owners are requested to remove their dogs from guest rooms during Housekeeping or other required services. Should a dog be present, dog owners must be present and the dog caged or restrained. A cleaning surcharge of $200.00 will be applied if your dog defecates or urinates in the room, if they are allowed on the bed, or if you fail to promptly clean up any outdoor pet waste.
